Spicy herbal day starter

SPICE MAKE IBS NICE This is how I start my day for quite some time now. This recipe is dairy-free and naturaly sugar-free (unless you add maple syrup). The fruit adds a touch of fiber, cinnamon and cardamom acts anti-inflammatory and peppermint tea soothes the gut. What's not to like?

Easy Risotto

FAUX RISOTTO This isn't a traditional risotto where broth is gradually added to the rice with constant stirring. Nope. We won't be doing the final mantecatura* step either. But that doesn't mean this faux risotto will be lumpy and dry. Not at all! It's creamy, flavourful, and perfect for a busy weeknight. Here's what you need: 1 cup rice (2 dcl) 3 chicken thighs, diced 1 carrot, diced 1 carrot, grated 1 small grated zucchini salt dry parsley parmesan butter olive oil black pepper 2 cups liquid (chicken broth is the best, but water will do the job) Here's how to do it: Soften carrots in butter and olive oil on a medium heat, add chicken thighs, dry parsely and fry until the meat is slightly coloured. This recipe makes it super simple. Just toss all the ingredients in one bowl, give it a quick mix (no kneading needed!), and let it rise for a short while. You'll be amazed how easy it is. If you have a KitchenAid or another stand mixer, that makes things even easier. But the key is to measure your water and flour accurately; at least 15% more water than flour is required. Unlike regular bread dough with gluten, this one needs to be much wetter. For a fantastically crunchy crust, brush the top with plenty of water before baking. Here's what you need: gluten free flour 350 g; I use Schar Mix B water 400 ml 3 spoons olive oil 1/2 sachet dried yeast 1 levelled tea spoon salt Here is how to do it: Toss all your ingredients into a large bowl and mix. Gluten free flour tends to fly, so s...
